Kitesurfing at the Reschensee
This extreme sport is practiced during the summer and the wintertime at the Reschenesee. Due to the geographical and topographical location of the lake, the lake is relatively windproof and therefore ideal for advanced and beginners.
You will start kitesurfing from a large meadow. If you would like to go kiting on your own, you only need to have a kite certificate, a liability insurance and buy a day or season ticket at Adrenalin's Adrenalin school at the lake.

Running & Jogging
Those who like jogging can expect more than 148 kilometers of routes of varying degrees of difficulty. Every year, the “Reschenseelauf” takes place, which is a highlight for every amateur and professional runner, hand cyclists and Nordic Walking enthusiasts. The run is something very special due to the amazing panorama.
The start of the run takes place in Graun, at the historic church tower in the lake, at 1,450 m above sea level. The first section runs flat and leads the runners about 5km towards the village of St. Valentin. At the end of the reservoir in front of St. Valentin, the dam will be crossed. Afterwards it follows the slightly hilly and shady part towards the valley station of the ski area Schöneben until kilometer 11. The route continues flat until Reschen. The last kilometers are also flat and run primarily on gravel routes. On the way towards south, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the highest mountain in South Tyrol, the Ortler (3.905 m).
